Hand technique – Freestroke/rebound
- Wrist exercise – 40 x 4 claps
- RRRR x 40 then LLLL x 40 -> German grip, full grip, raise to 90˚, ALLOW REBOUND
This is the clapping exercise; using elbows and wrists together it encourages wrist movement and builds speed and strength for using the American grip.
This is the hand exercise on the practice pad, up to 90˚ then a downstroke, allowing rebound to carry the stick up to the right height. Done in German hand positioning using a full grip.
